Judging Process

Judges will read and pre-score all entry forms, considering any supporting materials submitted. Judges will be asked to give a score for each question within the entry form, as listed in the bullet points below. These will be combined to give an overall score for each entry. All judges pre-scores will then be combined and the highest scoring entries will determine the shortlists.

Judges will meet to discuss the highest scoring entries and then agree the shortlists for each category. The shortlists will be announced on the 20 July 2017 and the public vote will open until the 4 August to allow you to vote for the candidate who you think should win each sector award. Shortlist candidates who received the most public votes will win. Once the public vote has closed and the winners have been decided, One4all Rewards will decide the winner of the overall Employee of the Year Award. All of the winners will be announced on the One4all Spotlight Awards website on 8 August.

Only the One4all Spotlight Awards Judges and the events team will see your entries. All judges will sign confidentiality agreements prior to receiving your entries.

Judges review and score entries remotely, to nominate their desired shortlist.

Judges will be looking for evidence of strategy and research, execution, creativity, originality and evaluation.

Organisations participating in the judging process are encouraged to enter the awards but will absent themselves from any discussion involving their organisation or any organisation in which they have an interest.

The organisers reserve the right to publish submissions from the winners and shortlisted entrants. Where certain information is sensitive, such as budget figures, please mark ‘not for publication'.
